Hi Friends! It’s the last day of Sale-A-Bration today … the last day that you can earn a free product each time you spend $50. Don’t let this great opportunity pass by. There are so many fantastic Sale-A-Bration products that you can earn this year, including the items in the original Sale-A-Bration flyer (except Blendabilities which have been discontinued), the supplemental flyer, and additional products. So, be sure to check out each one of these lists to see if there are items you’d still like to earn for free before the end of the day. Also, this is the last day that you can purchase 3-month prepaid Paper Pumpkin subscriptions at a discount.
Sign Ups for Stamps In the Mail:
Before I get to my Sale-A-Bration inspiration for the last time this year, I wanted to let you know that sign ups for Round 3 of Stamps In the Mail start today and go through April 10th!!! I’m so excited to be starting a new round of this program with the amazing Sheltering Tree stamp set:
This is such a fun program; I’m sure you would love it! I have received rave reviews from customers during past rounds.
How does Stamps In the Mail work? It goes on for three months. Each month, you receive approximately $32 of Stampin’ Up! products, including the Sheltering Tree stamp set the first month. In addition, each month you receive materials and detailed step-by-step instructions from me to make four projects (usually cards), as well as ideas for bonus projects. The projects all use the same stamp set, so over the next three months, you’ll end up making 12 projects out of Sheltering Tree and realize how to make the most out of this versatile set. This program is like having Stamp Club, but in the convenience of your own home and on your own time. I strive to design beautiful, unique projects using creative techniques. Sound intriguing? Contact me for more details, or to sign up at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cost for this program is $45 a month, and if you’d like to receive double supplies to make the projects with a friend, it’s only an extra $5.
For my inspiration today, I made one more Easter card using a few of my favorite Sale-A-Bration products. I used the Sheer Perfection Vellum and a button from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack. I know I’ve said it before, but this vellum is so much fun to use! I love coloring it with good old Stampin’ Write Markers and placing it over different colors of card stock. There are unlimited possibilities.
To color the vellum, I flipped it over and used three shades of yellow Stampin’ Write Markers: Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, and So Saffron. For the stems, I used Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers.
The “happy” and “Easter” come from the For You Thinlits Dies and coordinating Crazy About You stamp set. I attached them to an additional layer vellum to emphasize the title yet not cover up the pretty colored vellum underneath.
To create my flowers, I used several punches. I used the 7/8″ Scallop punch to create the daisy. After I punched it, I cut the petals with scissors. The larger yellow flower is made with the Petite Petals and Itty Bitty Accents punches, and the smallest white flower includes two Itty Bitty Accents flower punches. I curled all of them slightly with a bone folder.
The Crushed Curry button is from the Sale-A-Bration Best Year Ever Accessory Kit. You’ll also notice that I added in a little of the yellow embroidery floss from this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit.
Supplies used on my card:
