For my inspiration today, I have another alternative Paper Pumpkin project! The August kit is my all time favorite!!! It’s so cute that I already used up all the contents of the box, so for this project, I’m only using the stamps. However, that brings up a good point … did you know that subscribers can order extra supplies of select kits? That’s one of the great perks of being a subscriber. To find out which kits are available, go to my online store and search Paper Pumpkin. You’ll also find prepaid subscriptions at a discounted price!
I used the Deco Labels Framelit Dies to cut labels out of both Chalkboard paper and Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper. Then, I used Whisper White Craft ink to stamp the greeting and a White Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen to draw in the dots. Going with the “dots” theme, I also used the Decorative Dots Textured Impression Embossing Folder to decorate the Circles Collection Framelit die cut layer.
I love the swirly stamps from this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit so much that I decided to use them to create a fun border on the bottom of this card. I made a little mistake on the lower right hand side, so I used some sponging to mask it. Hey, everybody makes mistakes sometimes.
I love all the layers on this card, and I particularly love the Dotted Scallop Trim and Metal Rimmed Pearls. These are two of my favorites right now!
Do you want to be a Paper Pumpkin subscriber and get exclusive photopolymer stamps like the ones used on my card? Check out the Paper Pumpkin tab on my blog for more details and a link to sign up. Also, remember that all my subscribers get an added perk! Each month, you’ll receive free tutorials for alternative projects.
