Each Tuesday, I write a newsletter to let you know about the latest deals at Stampin’ Up and upcoming events.

Paper Pumpkin:

The April 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit is going to be a special one!  Subscribers will not only receive the monthly kit, including a new photopolymer stamp set, but they’ll also receive an extra Free stamp set called All About Everything!  This is a one time event to celebrate the third anniversary of Paper Pumpkin.  To receive the free stamp set, you must subscribe to Paper Pumpkin before April 10th.

But that’s not all, because when you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me as your demonstrator, you get a few extra perks!  First, each month I post alternative ideas of projects you can create with the kit and some extra supplies.  Second, I also send each of my subscribers a FREE exclusive PDF with at least 8 tutorials of additional projects you can make with the contents of the kit and some extra supplies.  Each month, I get together with some of my fellow demonstrators to design and write these tutorials  They are creative, unique, and totally exclusive.  You will not find them on any social media sites.

For the month of March, we included 15 tutorials in the PDF!!!  Every month, I’m so inspired by the amazing projects these ladies create.  I feel so lucky to be part of this group, and to be able to share these great ideas with you.  Once you subscribe with me as your demonstrator, I’ll email this PDF to you around the 1st of the month following the distribution of each kit.

Here’s a sneak peek of some of the tutorials included in the March PDF that I just sent out last week.  Click HERE for one that we decided to share this month.

But wait, there’s one more thing!  For April, we decided to compile TWO PDF tutorials for our subscribers, one for the April Paper Pumpkin Kit, and another for the FREE All About Everything stamp set!!!

This weekend, I worked on my daughter’s school scrapbook.  I finished 6th grade!!!  Oh boy, just six more grades to go before her graduation party in June.  At least I’m chipping away at it.

Most of these are quick, fast pages so I could just get them done and move on.  I created all three pages with My Memories Suite digital scrapbooking software, and several old My Digital Studio downloads.  (I’ll list all the downloads on the bottom, in case you’re interested.)

For this first page, I had several random pictures, but then I realized they were all “firsts” so I decided to make that the theme of the page.  I used a chalkboard background for both this page and the next one for several reasons.  First, I love the way the dark background makes the photos pop.  Second, I had already created one Science Camp page that will lay next to the one below, so I wanted to use similar backgrounds and styles.

Shannon brought a disposable camera to Science Camp, and at one point during the trip, she dropped it in the river.  I’m surprised that any of the pictures came out.  None of them were a very good quality, so I made them small to compensate:)

I put a little more effort into this next page, because of the subject matter.  Shannon spent long hours interviewing my mom, writing her life story, and preparing for an oral presentation.  She and my mom are really close, and this whole assignment helped Shannon learn a lot more about her grandma.

The colors of these two photos really didn’t go well together, so I decided to make one black and white.  That way, I could emphasize the board Shannon created, which was the heart of her presentation.  I decided to keep the rest of the colors fairly neutral as well, again to emphasize the board.

Weekly Deals:

Weekly Deals are changing.  Originally, Stampin’ Up! offered Weekly Deals to help reduce overstocked inventory.  However, as it’s now reduced excess inventory, the variety of products available for Weekly Deals has decreased, making the deals less exciting, so Stampin’ Up! is replacing Weekly Deals with a less frequent but better promotion called Special Offers.  These Special Offers will occur every few months as inventory allows (the goal is still to reduce overstocked inventory) with more products and discount tiers than Weekly Deals (offers may vary per market).  The last sets of Weekly Deals will be April 5-18.

With that said, look at all the Weekly Deals being offered this week!  All these items are 25% off.
