Next, I have a fun card to share. I made this card for my nephew who’s having his 19th birthday at the end of this month. I used the Perfect Pennants stamp set to make this card. This is a great stamp set for masculine cards, and you don’t have to use it just to make pennants.
For my inspiration, I used a card template from the Creative Team that my upline Kimberly Van Diepen shared. This is a super versatile template that you could use with any stamp set. Just add some designer paper, ribbon and embellishments to make it your own.
For my card, I used the Going Places Designer Paper Stack. I love this paper stack! It’s only $8.00 and it includes 48 sheets (4 each of 12 double-sided designs.) Not only are the colors and designs perfect for travel cards and memory pages, but they’re also great for masculine cards.
My nephew is an Eagle Scout and enjoys hiking and the outdoors, so when I saw the mountain design paper, I thought of him immediately. I also really love the swirl design with black, Delightful Dijon and Mossy Meadow. This paper stack has a lot of these types of designs. It’s super pretty!
The rest of the card was fairly simple. I stamped the Make A Wish stamp three times, once on the Very Vanilla layer, and then twice on scrap pieces of paper to create the layers. I used scissors to cut out the banner and a 1/2″ Circle punch for the “a”.
I created the black and white diagonal stripe strips with a stamp from Perfect Pennants.
Lastly, I stamped the star, cut it out with scissors, and attached it with dimensionals over some Linen Thread to make it look like a shooting star.

Be sure to check out the new Weekly Deals. This is a great time to pick up the amazing Bow Builder Punch. That’s one of my favorites that I’ve used again and again.
Have a wonderful and creative week!
