Can you believe that it’s the last week of January already?  Wow, has this month flown by!

I’m currently working on my Valentine cards.  Today, I made one for my son who’s living away at college at CSU East Bay.  I’m getting a package all ready to mail to him.  I decided to use some more of my January 2016 Paper Pumpkin supplies, as well as some limited edition Sale-A-Bration products.  At the back of the Sale-A-Bration catalog, there are three products that will only be available until February 15, 2016.  To me, they are some of the best Sale-A-Bration products, so I would highly encourage getting them before time and supplies run out.  You can earn a free Sale-A-Bration product each time you spend $50.

I used two of the three limited edition items on this card for my son, including the Sky Is The Limit stamp set and the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper.

I love this stamp set!!!  The plane is so retro, and the heart clouds are perfect for Valentine’s Day.  I stamped and embossed the plane in Cherry Cobbler to really make it stand out, and then I fussy cut around the edges and popped it up with dimensionals.  In addition, to really make the plane look like it’s flying off the page, I enhanced the propeller by adding a 1/2″ circle of Vellum Paper attached with a mini brad.

I used a couple of the Paper Pumpkin heart die cuts in the background.  I stamped the heart clouds directly onto the top one and then colored it in with a White Signo Uni-Ball Gel Pen.

I also stamped and embossed the XOXO stamp in Cherry Cobbler.  Both the stamp and flag die cuts are part of this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit.

To create my heart cluster, I used the heart punch from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and the coordinating Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers.
