I have another alternative Paper Pumpkin project to share with you today.  But before I get to that, I just learned about a great new deal.  Starting January 5, you can purchase a 3 month prepaid subscription to Paper Pumpkin for just $55.  Plus, when you purchase this prepaid subscription, you qualify for a free Sale-A-Bration product!  It’s a win-win.  You save money on your subscription and qualify for a Sale-A-Bration gift.  For more information on how this works, contact me.

This month’s Paper Pumpkin kit includes loads of gorgeous watercolored supplies to make 12 desktop calendars.  Had I not just made several calendars of my own design, I would have used the kit to make this beautiful project.  However, since I already had a desktop calendar (and had just given out several to my friends as gifts), I decided to use the supplies in my kit to make some much needed thank you cards.

For the above card, I used a thank you stamp from the Rose Wonder stamp set (available to purchase on January 5, 2016.)  However, you can use numerous alternative greeting to re-create this card.  One alternative is the Layers of Gratitude stamp set from the February 2015 Paper Pumpkin kit.  This entire kit is available to current subscribers to purchase, including the photopolymer stamps.

To create my card, I made a fun background with some Blackberry Bliss and Soft Suede cardstock and my Curvy Corner Trio punch.  Afterward, I decorated the Soft Suede layer with the dot stamp from this month’s kit.  The Hello Honey lined paper, gold foil banner, floral label and white and gold baker’s twine were also from this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit.  For the gold foil banner, I used a Banner Triple Punch to punch a “V” on the other side of the banner piece provided in order to make a double banner.
