Happy Tuesday! I wanted to give you a quick update on news items today. I’m still at my mom’s house helping her recover from shoulder surgery. She’s doing remarkably well all things considered. It’s a painful surgery, but she has such a positive spirit and good mental attitude that I think it’s helping her recover quickly.
Today there are new Weekly Deals at Stampin’ Up! including one of my all time favorite ribbons – Venetian Trim. Be sure to check out the rest of the items that are 25% off this week, as well as all the Clearance Items.
I also have a fun technique video to share with you. This video shows how to use masking to create beautiful backgrounds on a single layer of paper.
Finally, for all my Paper Pumpkin subscribers, Stampin’ Up! has added new refill and past kits to the store. Unfortunately, I did not receive my Paper Pumpkin Kit before I left to drive to my mom’s house. As soon as I get back home, I’ll post some alternative ideas for this month. I’ve seen the kit for this month, and it’s really awesome! It includes a 13 piece photopolymer stamp set that’s just gorgeous. In the meantime, here’s the Stampin’ Up! on how to put the standard kit together.
If you’d like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin and join in the fun, click HERE. If you subscribe by the 10th of the month, you’ll receive the current month’s kit. For more information, click on the Paper Pumpkin Tab on my blog. Also, when you subscribe using me as your demonstrator, you’ll receive FREE tutorials each month on alternative projects that you can create with the kit!
Have a wonderful week, and enjoy a safe Halloween this weekend!
