Timeless Textures

The Timeless Textures stamp set is a little treasure.  I find that the more I use it, the more I love it.  It’s also one of those stamp sets that you could literally use to embellish every card you make.  It’s really that versatile.

For my card today, I used various stamps from Timeless Textures to create the background on plain Very Vanilla card stock.  I particularly like the rough edge stamp that goes around the edges of this card.

I stamped multiple layers right on top of each other, using Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo ink.

To create the starfish, I used the Picture Perfect stamp set.  I stamped the bottom layer with Crumb Cake and the top layer with Flirty Flamingo.  To line up the two stamps well, I used a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig.  (While the stamps are photopolymer, I find I have better success using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig.)

My label was created with the new Layering Squares Framelits Dies.  These are beautiful die cuts made to layer in multiple sizes.

I love the way the Timeless Textures stamps look like sand to go with my ocean themed card.
