#TGIFC216 — Sketch Challenge

It’s Friday, and that means a new TGIF Challenge! This week, we have a fun sketch, so I decided to break out my brand new Above the Clouds stamp set! Wahoo!!! The challenge sketch layout is below. It’s nice and simple, leaving room for interpretation. I decided to change the layout to landscape, size down my banner proportionately, and change the shape of the punch. The Above the Clouds stamp… Read More »

Waterfront Birthday

This week, What Will You Stamp is featuring one of my all-time favorite stamp sets — Waterfront!!!  I love this stamp set for so many reasons.  It features both tropical and mountain scenes, which are two of my favorite places to be.  And, it features watercolor images, which is my absolute favorite style. Waterfront & New Colors!

Today, I have one more card to share that I created for one of my eye doctors.  This card is for the retinal specialist.  He was a great advocate in helping to find a surgeon to operate on my eye.  I’m so very grateful!!! I just got my pre-order of new products from the 2018 Annual Catalog!!!  It’s so exciting!!!  Seriously, I think there’s nothing better than being inspired with… Read More »

January 2019 Desktop Calendar

“Snowy” Waterfront

Today, I have one more card featuring the Waterfront stamp set.  I just love this stamp set and can’t stop using it.  There are SO MANY possibilities and I’ve seen such incredible inspiration on social media.  Every time I set it aside, I see something else I’ve just got to try!!! Up until now, I hadn’t used the pine tree stamps to create a mountain scene.  I recently visited my mom… Read More »

Patriotic Sympathy

Sympathy cards are so hard to do!  I usually don’t have many (if any) on hand, so when I make them, it’s usually because of an immediate need.  Then, it’s hard to get creative when you’re feeling sad.  I really need to start making two at a time, so I have one left in inventory. Last week, a very dear friend of my husband’s passed away.  He was simply an… Read More »

“Painting” with Stamps

I am crazy about the new Waterfront stamp set!  I knew immediately that it was going to be one of my all-time favorites, but now that I’ve used it a few times, I’m realizing it’s even better than expected.  I particularly love the watercolor style of the stamps and the individual brush stroke stamps that I can use to “paint” a picture. What’s even better is sharing ideas with other… Read More »
