GDP101 – Color Challenge

This week, the Global Design Project is having a color challenge!  I love color challenges, because they force me to use new and different combinations.  Actually, I love challenges period, because they force me to think outside of the box.  A few months ago, I felt like I was in a funk and doing these challenges over the last month has really inspired me.  (The feedback has encouraged me as… Read More »

Mediterranean Birthday

We have lots of July birthdays in my family!  Yesterday was my Sister-In-Law Laurel’s birthday, and I know she reads my blog, so I had to be careful not to publish her card before she actually received it.  Her husband arranged a super fun “Girl’s Night Out” surprise party for her last night.  I even sent her a decoy birthday card in the mail so she wouldn’t suspect.  Hee, hee… Read More »

Get Well Wishes

August Desktop Calendar

I made a promise to have two more installments of my 2017 desktop calendars this month, and I haven’t forgotten!!!  I may just make it my the skin of my teeth, but I’m really going to try. I designed the August 2017 calendar using the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and coordinating Flourish Thinlits Dies.  (You can purchase them both in a bundle for 10% off!)  The stamp set is huge… Read More »
