Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching!!! So the past couple weekends, I’ve been working on all my cards and gifts. Today, I’m sharing a cute little card I created with the Sure Do Love You bundle and coordinating Heart Happiness stamp set. Both these stamp sets and the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies work beautifully together for endless possibilities.
I particularly love the striped heart stamp on this card. To make the stripes different colors, I used the brush end of my Stampin’ Write Markers to color directly onto the stamp. Then to enhance the watercolor style of the stamp, I used my “Watercolor” stamping technique. I painted clear water over the stamp before stamping. Since I had multiple colors on the stamp, I was careful not to mix the colors while adding the water.
For the background, I stamped and embossed with white on Shimmery White Paper. Then, I watercolored with Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist inks.
