Solid Chocolate

By | April 10, 2017

What’s better for Easter than solid chocolate bunnies, right?  Ha!  Well, how about a nice Easter card about solid chocolate?  Hmm … not exactly the same, but it’s a cute idea.

When I saw this sentiment for the Basket Bunch stamp set, I KNEW I had to use it on at least one card.  I mean, it’s really too perfect for words.

Once again, I stamped my images on Shimmery White Paper with Basic Black Archival ink so I could watercolor them.  This method is one of my favorites, and it works great for coloring the pretty flowers and stems.

For the background, I used the Petal Burst Textured Impression Embossing Folder.  It looks like little eggs, so it’s great for Easter.

For my color combination, I chose bright colors that remind me of Spring, including Cucumber Crush, Flirty Flamingo and Crushed Curry.

Supplies used on my card:

I have one more Easter card to share this week and then it’s on to birthdays.  Both my daughter and her boyfriend have birthdays this month.  In fact my daughter’s is today!!!  Happy 19th to my baby girl:)
