Project Life – Use a Calendar

By | July 6, 2015

I have another Project Life page for you today.  Last week, the PLxSU Trio Challenge group challenged us to create a Project Life page including a calendar.  So, I decided to go back and complete a memory page of the Southern California College Tour road trip that my daughter and I took last Fall.  We hit five colleges in a little over a week!  It was tons of fun and very informative.  It definitely helped my daughter narrow down her choices, and determine her favorite college so far.

To complete my page, I used the Moments Like These Project Life Card Collection.  This collection is available digitally at www.digitalprojectlife.com and in real paper format from Stampin’ Up! (listed under the supplies below.)  While I continue to create these pages in digital format with My Digital Studio (because it’s fast and easy for me), I’m trying to focus on designs and collections that non-digital users can re-create in real paper pocket cards.  I particularly love the Moments Like These Card Collection because it has a lot of neutral colored cards that don’t detract from color photos.

For my calendar, I used the Day to Day Project Life stamp set.  This is a great stamp set for adding calendar days, month and year to your pages.  I have it both in physical and digital form, and I can honestly say that it’s one of my most used stamp sets.  It’s always a good idea to add the date to a page, and this stamp set gives you tons of options.

To add all the college logos, I simply did image searches on the internet and downloaded the logos.  To do this on real paper cards, you could print the logos and then use the Project Life Card & Label Framelits Dies to cut them out.

Hope this inspires you to make your own Project Life page!
