This is the last day to order from the Holiday Catalog. There’s a couple little jewels on page 37 that I thought I’d point out, just in case you’re like me and you’re wanting a quick and easy way to document your holiday photos. It’s the updated Hello December 2015 Project Life Card Collection and Accessory Pack.
The card collection includes 71 cards in two sizes (3″ x 4″ and 4″ x 6″) printed in a beautiful holiday color combination of Basic Gray, Lost Lagoon, Mint Macaroon, Real Red and Very Vanilla. I love how easy it is to use Project Life! Simply pick out your photos and add them to a photo pocket page of your choice (depending on the orientation of your photos.) Then, fill in the rest of the pockets with Project Life cards that go with the theme of your photos. Add journaling, use a white gel pen to doodle on your photos, and you’ve got a great looking memory page in minutes!
For my page above, I wanted to focus on holiday traditions. I thought it would be fun to list some of our favorites. Then, I discovered this cute card that said “laughing all the way” and realized that it went perfectly with the bottom candid photo of the cousins. I can’t tell you how often that has happened … I’ll be looking through one of the Project Life Card Collections and I’ll find just the perfect card. Stampin’ Up! has an uncanny way of knowing just what we need.
Project Life pages can be completed with real life photos, using the card collections and photo pocket pages listed below and sold at my online store. Or, if you prefer digital pages, you can purchase all of the Stampin’ Up! Project Life card collections at Becky Higgins Digital Store. That’s what I used for my page above when I designed it using My Memories Suite Version 7 (MMS). To decorate my photos, I used stamps (or imprints which is the verbiage used for MMS) that I had purchased last year for My Digital Studio — the Hello December Digital Download. I was able to import all my old digital downloads into MMS by copying over the components files. For more information on how to do this, see the instructions at MDS Monday.
