Plastic Bag Watercolor Technique

By | March 19, 2017

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend!!!  I’m spending mine having fun in my craft room.  Yay!!!

I have a really fun technique to share with you today using watercolor paper and a plastic sandwich bag.  Sounds crazy, but it’s super easy and fun; and what’s great is that it turns out different every time you do it.  At the bottom of this post, you’ll find a link to download a complete step-by-step tutorial.

I had two objectives for this card.  One was to try out this technique and the other was to use my new Sale-A-Bration 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper Assortment.  It’s soooooo pretty and I love the colors!  I used the exact same color inks for my card:  Bermuda Bay, Sweet Sugarplum and Mint Macaron.

Remember that you can earn this beautiful glimmer paper assortment pack for FREE when you make a qualifying purchase before March 31st.  But, don’t wait because supplies are only available while they last and Sale-A-Bration is ending soon!

I just love the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and coordinating Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies.  They are so delicate and beautiful, and the font of the sentiments is just gorgeous.  You can purchase both in a bundle for 10% off.  And, if you purchase the bundle, all you need to do is add a little more and you can get the glimmer paper for free!
