Today, I have a fun technique to share with you. It involves creating a mask with painters tape!
I heard about this idea from a fellow demonstrator and thought it was so clever! I had my daughter buy me the widest painters tape available at Home Depot. (She hangs out there a lot, because that’s where her boyfriend works! Ha!!!) Initially, I thought I would need to select a die cut that would fit within the width. Of course, when the artistic side of me kicked in and I started thinking of card ideas, that went out the window. So I decided to try placing two strips of tape on my Big Shot glass side by side and slightly overlapping. It worked! I ran the die cut through the machine, and voila, a perfect stencil that totally stays put.
I had to be a little careful when I picked up this particular stencil, just because there were so many little intricate pieces. But I have to say, this is a technique I would try again.

Have a great weekend!!!
