My October Paper Pumpkin Kit arrived this week!  OHHH and it’s such a pretty one!!!

This month’s kit is called Season of Gratitude, and it includes supplies to make eight Fall Themed cards.  What’s even better is that all the cards are shaker cards!!!  I love shaker cards!

Here’s a picture of all the supplies from this month’s kit.  It includes 8 Crumb Cake card bases, 8 printed envelopes (so, so pretty!), 8 window sheets, 8 Very Vanilla embossed sheets with leaf die cuts, 5 different sheets of die cuts for tags, banners and backgrounds in Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon, and Pumpkin Pie, 5 yeards of Old Olive Baker’s Twine, Sequins (3 sizes and 4 colors), 2 sheets of Foam Adhesive Strips in two sizes, 150 adhesive dots, and last but certainly not least a Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Spot ink pad and the Season of Gratitude Photopolymer stamp set shown below!  Whew, thats A LOT of stuff for only $19.95 plus tax (includes shipping.)

This first card shows the standard card you can make with the kit.  I enhanced it just a little bit by adding some Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder on top of the ink and then heat setting it.  I also added a little touch of Pumpkin Pie Baker’s Twine that I unwound from some Halloween Night Baker’s Twine.

Don’t the windows look pretty with the background stamp?  This is SUCH A PRETTY CARD.  Well done Stampin’ Up!

When I made the standard cards, I had all these adorable leaf die cuts left over!  They are so pretty with the embossing.  So, I decided to use them for an alternative card.  I also sacrificed one of those cute envelopes so I could cut out the printed paper that’s inside.  (I hid the fold line under the Linen Thread and Baker’s Twine.)

I added some Copper Foil to the background and some 1/4″ wide strips of the Very Vanilla embossed paper.

For this next card, I created a fun texture on the side of the card with the Paper Pumpkin background stamp.  Then, I sponged the leaf die cuts with Old Olive, Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze ink.  Also, I folded my banner in half for a different look under the label.

In addition to the October Paper Pumpkin Kit, I used the following supplies on my cards:
