New Desktop Calendars

By | September 12, 2015

Hope you’re having a great weekend!  Today, I have two new installments for my 2016 desktop calendar class.  I started this class at the beginning of the year, when My Digital Studio was still being supported.  Subsequently, I’ve committed to finishing out the year so anyone following the class can complete the full year of 2016 desktop calendars.  Unfortunately, none of the downloads that I’m using to complete the following two pages are available to purchase any longer.  At one point, Stampin’ Up! indicated that it might offer some of it’s old downloads through MyMemories Suite, but so far I haven’t seen any.  Therefore, in order to complete these pages, you would need to already own the downloads.  However, if you don’t have the exact ones, you could always substitute something similar.

For my September page, I used the Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper and embellishments, as well as the Chateau Bella stamp brushes.  These are some of my favorite downloads that I’ve used on many scrapbook pages.  I love the French Country style.  For a list of specific items used on my page, click HERE or refer to the Desktop Calendar page on my blog.

Next is the October 2016 page.  I combined several fun downloads for this one, including the Halloween Banner Simply Created, which includes the background paper and ribbons.  Also, I love this pot from Toxic Treats.  It’s a see-through stamp, so I added a Perfect Plum punch behind it to color it in.  I also added a freeform layer to color white bubbles behind the stamp.  For specific details on re-creating this page, click HERE.  As always, if you have questions, please leave a comment and I’ll do my best to get back to you.

Next month, I’ll post the last two calendar pages so we can wrap up 2016.  So, stay tuned.
