Mirror Image Layout

By | April 18, 2016

Last Monday, I shared the story of my daughter’s Senior photo shoot.  Well today, I have a scrapbook page to share that includes the actual photos taken during that photo shoot in the field of mustard flowers.  This page will sit right next to last week’s page.

If you recognize the page layout, it’s because this one is a mirror image of the page from last week.  It’s super easy to create a mirrored image with My Memories Suite digital software.  After completing the first page, then I simply selected Insert / Duplicate Mirrored Page from the top tool bar and voila, there is was.  All I had to do was change the photos.  This is a huge time saver.

For comparison, here’s my page from last week.

I changed the background papers to match the colors of the photos and added one smaller photo on the page above.  I also did some different things with the top banners and added some embellishments, but the general layout is exactly the same.  So, they’ll look congruous sitting next to each other.

Downloads used on my page:

My Memories Suite Downloads:  Down By The Seashore (free with purchase of version 7 software), Sensational Six Ribbon and Spring in Bloom Flowers (free with the original version 5 software)

Becky Higgins Downloads:  Just Add Color Overlays

My Digital Studio Downloads:  Mis-Stitched, Downtown Grunge, Brads, Staple & Stitching, Gorgeous Grunge, & Flag Punch

You could easily create mirrored layouts with real photos, paper and the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set!  Give it a try.
