Today, I have something a little different … a card with hardly any stamping, but a whole lot of punches! Punches are so much fun. You can practically create a whole card with them, along with some pretty patterned paper and a greeting stamp.
For my card today, I used four different punches (the new Curvy Corner Punch, the Banner Triple Punch, the Project Life Punch Corner and the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack) and my favorite paper – the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack.
The new Curvy Corner Trio Punch is so fun! It includes three punches in one, and has unlimited possibilities. It’s one of my favorite items in the new Holiday Catalog.
To create my banner, I started by cutting a 2″ wide strip and using the Banner Triple Punch to punch the “V” in the bottom. Then, I cut a 1-7/8″ strip of Pacific Point card stock and used the Project Life Punch Corner to round the bottom corners. Finally, I stamped my greeting from the Lovely Amazing You stamp set and trimmed the paper to 1-3/4″, and used the Curvy Corner Punch to punch out the bottom.
The background paper, large banner paper, and horizontal strip at the top all come from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack. This stack measures 6″ x 6″, so the papers are perfectly sized for card fronts. It includes 4 each of 12 double sided designs for a total of 48 pages, and it only costs $8.00! Plus, it’s SO pretty!!! I love the coordinating colors, the beautiful designs, everything about this paper stack.
The little strip along the top of the card is a piece of Kraft Corrugated Paper. This paper has beautiful texture and works great for adding a beautiful dimension to your projects.
Finally, I finished off my card with some tiny seed pearls and Very Vanilla Thick Baker’s Twine.
