Yesterday, I got together with the gals for Stamp Club. We gather together once a month to create four projects. It’s so much fun; I really enjoy all of these ladies.
Each time we get together, I have a drawing for a door prize. The box below was this month’s prize.
I created the bag using the Gift Bag Punch Board. This is a great tool, because you can use it to create bags in three sizes out of any cardstock or designer series paper you choose. Plus, you can make the bags as tall as you like. (Or, as tall as the paper you’re using will allow.)
For a video on how to use the Gift Bag Punch Board, see below:
I’ll be honest with you. I can’t really remember how to use the Gift Bag Punch Board, so I always pull up the video and watch it before making one. Stampin’ Up! videos are great!!!
This is a tiny bag, “S” size, for a tiny gift. (Good things come in small packages!!!)
I used the Sending Love Suite of products to decorate it. These stamps and framelits are so freaking cute!
Before assembling my bag, I cut out the heart pop-out from the front of the bag using the Love Notes Framelits Dies. I also added some stamps using Real Red ink.
After assembling my bag, I cut another heart pop-out from some Sending Love Designer Series Paper. To attach it to the bag, first I adhered a small strip of cardstock (slightly less than 1/4″ wide) on the inside of the bag right down the middle of the heart. That way, I could use the strip to adhere the heart pop-out cut from designer series paper.
Inside the bag is a tag, with the “gift” written on the back.
I cut a 2″ strip of Whisper White cardstock and then used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch on the top to form a tag. Don’t you just love the little envelopes you can make with the Love Notes Framelits? (The ribbon on the top of the tag is some leftover from the Holidays. I think it’s now retired.)

Enjoy your weekend!
