I have a great stamp set to share with you today. It’s perfect for masculine cards, something I struggle with. But not any longer, because now I’m flooded with great ideas!!!
This stamp set coordinates with the Celebrations Duo Textured Impression Embossing Folders: one that says “HAPPY” and another that says “Celebrate.” You can see a subtle impression of the HAPPY in the background of my card below.
I stamped the HAPPY with Basic Black Archival ink on watercolor paper and watercolored it with Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, and Pacific Point ink. Then, I cut out each letter and adhered them with dimensionals over the embossed HAPPY. I got this idea from Kimberley Van Diepen, who did a similar card.
This stamp set has lots of geometric shapes that are great to build a fun background. I stamped off so the colors would be muted and the HAPPY in the center would draw the eye.
Finally, I added some enamel dots and black and white accents for some added punch. The diagonal paper is from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Collection.
