Happy 21st!

By | September 27, 2015

I’m currently in New York on vacation with my mom and sisters.  But, I have a great masculine birthday card to share that was made by my sister Jill for my son for his 21st birthday this month.  I often have a hard time designing masculine cards, so when I see one like this, I really admire it!

I love the color combination Jill used on this card!  It’s perfect for an older guy.  It’s masculine, yet still festive.

Jill used the Amazing Birthday stamp set for this card, along with some retired items.  She embossed the Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday to YOU! in Crushed Curry and all the other numbers in black.

I really like the subtle numbers in the background and the way they all look like they’re falling.  I also really love the way the number 21 is die cut and backed with Cherry Cobbler paper.  It’s so vibrant against the black background.  The random yellow stars also really add to the overall great look.

Have a great day, and I’ll be back after the 30th!
