Greetings From Santa

By | November 3, 2016

Want a quick and easy idea for a Christmas card?  Then, I’ve got the perfect card to share today.

My card features the Greetings From Santa stamp set.  This stamp set is made to coordinate with the Detailed Santa Thinlits Die, but you can also use it by itself.  It’s super cute with lots of great greetings, as well as background stamps, and this darling little reindeer.

To create my card, I started out with some Shimmery White Paper and gave it a quick watercolor wash with Mint Macaroon ink.  Once it dried, I added some snowflakes in the same color.  Next, I stamped the reindeer with Crumb Cake ink and punched it out with a circle punch to create the tag.  Unravel some thick white baker’s twine, tie it with some Linen Thread and staple it on the top layer.  Emboss the greeting in white to create the banner and add some silver sequins.

Supplies used on my card:

Stampin’ Up! revealed the outside of the upcoming November Paper Pumpkin Kit on it’s Facebook Page.  I can only imagine the pretty things inside!!!  In past years, the November kit has included supplies to make holiday cards.
If you want to get in on the fun, be sure to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin before November 10th!
