Last week, I got two graduation announcements in the mail. What? Wholly cow, it’s already May and graduations are just around the corner!!! I had been meaning to design my daughter’s graduation announcement for months! Where did the time go?
I had to act quick! I used my sister’s idea and went to Shutterfly. They have amazing pre-designed grad announcements. Just find one you like and upload your photos. While I had every intention of creating an original announcement using My Memories Suite software, this was a fast and easy alternative. Considering that I now work full-time, it was a no brainer decision. And honestly, I’m super happy with the results.
I chose a design called Gifted Class. It’s a tri-fold card with lots of room for photos. After having Heather Jean take all those great senior pictures of Shannon, I wanted to share as many as I could!
I love the fact that I could design the back of the card as well. I thought this photo of Shannon looking off into the distance was very apropos.
Thank you to Shutterfly for saving the day! I ordered expedited shipping and should have all my prints in less than a week … plenty of time to address and mail them pronto!!!
I know this post doesn’t have anything to do with stamping. Unfortunately, I can only create on the weekends these days, and so I’m limited. Next week, I’ll have more stamping projects … PROMISE.
Have a great weekend!!!
