Dragonfly Dreams Gift Bag

By | February 21, 2017

My Stamp Club is coming up this Thursday!  So exciting!!!  It’s so fun to get together with my friends and create each month.

I always bring a door prize to each meeting.  It’s usually something small, an embellishment of some sort, but I love to use it to demonstrate all the AMAZING things you can do with Stampin’ Up! products to create gifts with a big “WOW” factor that really show you care.

For this project, I used a Petite Cafe Gift Bag and simply decorated it.  You get 10 bags for only $6.00, and they’re perfect for small gifts.  What could be easier?

I have a tutorial at the bottom of this post, so I won’t go into a lot of detail on how I made the decoration.  It may look hard, but it really wasn’t … it just involved some simple spritzing, stamping, and watercoloring.

I got a little creative with the Burlap Ribbon (yes, it did start out as a strip of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon!)  At first, I had tied a bow, but it just didn’t look right because it was the same shape as the dragonfly.  So, I started playing around and settled with this.  I think it’s fun and different, so I was happy.

Enjoy and have a wonderful day:)
