Daisy Delight

It’s almost time for the new Annual Catalog!  June 1st is right around the corner.

Today, I have a preview of a project made with one of my favorite new suites of products, Daisy Delight.  You’re going to love this stamp set and coordinating Daisy punch, designer series paper, and embellishments.  The stamp set is beautiful and super versatile, and the colors of the paper are gorgeous, including this lovely watercolor themed paper that I used on my project below.

In fact, I loved the designer paper so much that I decided to mimic the colors on the daisy I watercolored.  First, I stamped and embossed the daisy twice in white on Shimmery White Paper.  Then, I watercolored the petals with Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and a little bit of Tranquil Tide ink.  After it dried, I punched out the flowers with the coordinating punch.  So easy!!!

To finish off the daisy, I added a new Gold Faceted Gem to the center.  These embellishments come in both gold and clear, and they are oh so pretty.

My label is the largest die cut from Lots of Labels Framelits Die.  I cut it out of Shimmery White Paper and stamped the leaves and sentiment with Tranquil Tide ink.  The leaves include two-step stamping which is super easy to line up with this photopolymer set.

To add a little more sparkle, I painted over the leaves with a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

For just a little more interest on the label, I also embossed some small daisies in white.

Finally, I added some new Tranquil Tide 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon.  This ribbon comes in all the new In Colors, and you are just going to love it!!  It’s got a beautiful texture and ties well.  It’s definitely one of my favorites.

Supplies used on my card:

I have more exciting news too!  Starting June 1st, Stampin’ Up! will have a new promotion for hostesses that includes an extra $35 in rewards for workshops over $350.  More details to come.
Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

I LOVE your Delightful Daisy card. Most especially I love how you mimicked the watercolor DSP. Please explain in detail what you mean by saying you stamped the daisies “twice” in white. Thank you so much.

Sorry for the confusion. I meant that I stamped and embossed two daisies in white on Shimmery White paper. I punched each daisy with the punch. Nothing fancy or tricky😀
