Lots to Love Boxes

Stampin’ Up! has some great products in the Occasions Catalog for Valentine’s Day.  One of my favorites is the Painted With Love Bundle on page 18, which includes the Sure Do Love You stamps, Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies, and Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.  They all coordinate to make gorgeous projects.  I especially love the box die cut used on my projects today. These boxes are beautiful… Read More »

Sale-A-Bration’s Amazing You

We are now fully into Sale-A-Bration, Stampin’ Up!’s biggest sale of the year.  (It runs through March 31, 2018.)  I absolutely love this time of year, because you can earn free products every time to make a purchase of $50 or $100.  This year, there are two levels of free items you can earn.  With every purchase of $50, you can earn a level 1 item.  And with every purchase… Read More »

Christmas Gold

Today, I have a quick idea for a small holiday gift.  This is a bag I used for a door prize at my Stamp Workshop last week.  It’s easy to put together, but looks like you put in a lot of effort.  (Gotta love that!!!) To start out, I stamped the greeting from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set with Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White paper and quickly embossed it in clear,… Read More »

Does anyone else feel like December is going by on fast-forward speed???  Man, I need a pause button!  I got so behind on my Christmas cards this year … I stayed up way past midnight almost every night last week to finish them up, and FINALLY mailed them on Friday!  Whew!!!  Mark that off the list. Afterwards, I spent the weekend wrapping and finishing up gifts including my 2018 desktop… Read More »

Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween everyone!!!  Hope you have a fun, spooky day! My little kiddies are all grown up and off on their own.  But, I still have wonderful memories of many, many costumes and fun Halloweens.  Plus, I like to let them know I’m thinking of them.  So, I made care packages to mail off and surprise them.  Bahahaaaa! OK, so I need to start off by qualifying that I did not… Read More »

Bigfoot???

Last weekend, my daughter’s boyfriend had knee surgery for the second time in less than a year!  Poor kid.  He had only been at Redlands University for football training for a little over a week, when he tore his meniscus again!  I felt so BAD for him, because he was SO EXCITED to play football. The good news is that all went well, and according to him, he should be… Read More »

Easter Treats

My daughter will be home for Easter, but my son is staying at college.  So, last weekend I boxed up a bunch of treats to mail off to him and his girlfriend.  He LOVES chocolate, so I know he’ll appreciate it. 🙂 It’s hard to mail an Easter basket, so I opted for an Easter bag.  And, even though Sale-A-Bration is over, I couldn’t resist using those cute chick stamps.… Read More »

Sent With Love

I’m working on finishing up the Valentine care packages that I’m going to send to my kids at college.  They love getting these packages, especially all the little “Mom” crafty things I put inside that make them realize I’m thinking of them while they’re away.  (I’m sure all the chocolate goes a long way too!) This little gift bag is a variation on one I made for my Stamp Club… Read More »

Watercolored Valentine’s

Is love in the air? It’s getting to be that time of year.  Valentine’s Day is only a month away.  When I looked through the new Occasions Catalog, I totally fell in love with the Sending Love Suite of products.  The stamps are so cute, and there are so many sayings that they should just about cover every possible Valentine wish you’d like to send out.  But, what I really fell… Read More »

During the Online Extravaganza at Thanksgiving, I picked up a Gift Bag Punch Board.  I’ve always wanted one, and when it went on sale, I… Read More »

Bear Happy Birthday

One of my husband’s best friends is about to turn 60!  (Yikes, I can’t believe we’re all approaching another big milestone!)  They’ve been friends since grammar school and have enjoyed lots of skiing and hiking trips in the back country of the Sierra. Meanwhile last weekend, we happened to be wine tasting in Lodi with my mom (which was so fun), and my husband discovered this great bottle of red… Read More »

Surprise!

A week from today, my daughter will be taking college finals for her first semester at LMU (Loyola Marymount University.)  She seems to be taking it all in stride so far, but I thought it would be really fun to surprise her with a box of goodies to raise her spirits.  So, of course I HAD to make a card to send in the box! I looked at my stash… Read More »
