Carlo’s Bakery Project Life

By | October 5, 2015

Since I just got back from a great vacation in New York City, I couldn’t resist completing a quick Project Life page this weekend.

These pictures are from our first moments in the city.  We literally left the bus station and ran into Carlo’s Bakery on our way to the hotel!  I was so excited because I LOVE the Cake Boss.  I watch the TV shows every week with my daughter, and we love using Buddy’s recipes to bake cakes and cupcakes.  I told my sisters and mom we had to stop so they could take my picture.  Later, I went back and waited through the long line so I could sample some of the yummy treats, including a lobster tail, as well as buy T-shirts and a hat for my daughter and I.  I kept looking for Buddy or one of his sisters, but didn’t recognize anyone.  Oh well, it was exciting just to be in the presence of all this baking mastery.

I used the Moments Like These Project Life Card Collection to complete my page.  (I completed my page with digital software, but you could easily do a similar page using physical pocket cards.)  The colors were perfect!  This is really a very simple page, just a few pocket cards, a couple of stamp embellishments, and some journaling.  But, that’s the beauty of Project Life.  It’s easy to throw together a great looking page in a manner of minutes.  The most time consuming part was the journaling!!!  I always go over my writing again and again.  Then inevitably, I’ll look at it again and think of something else I want to change!  Ah, such is life.

To purchase the Moments Like These Card Collection digitally, go to Becky Higgin’s digital store HERE.

The following includes links to the physical pocket card collection and digital downloads I used to crop my pocket cards and add stamp brushes:
